How DesignFlow Limited Started

Back in 2019, we noticed something frustrating in Kowloon’s startup scene. Founders were hiring designers who didn’t understand their vision. Designers were struggling to communicate ideas clearly. Nobody was teaching the fundamentals that bridge that gap — proper wireframing, systematic design thinking, collaborative tools like Figma.

That’s when DesignFlow Limited began. We weren’t interested in creating another generic online course platform. We wanted to build something hands-on, focused, and tailored to startup culture in Hong Kong. We started with 12 students in a borrowed office space. Today, we’ve worked with hundreds of designers, and we’ve seen them land real jobs, launch their own projects, and build better products.

We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all education. Every cohort we run is different because every designer brings their own goals. Some want to land jobs at agencies. Others are founders learning to design their own products. We adapt to what you actually need.
