What You’ll Learn

Comprehensive Design Fundamentals

We’ve structured our courses to take you from complete beginner to confident designer in practical, digestible steps.

Figma interface showing layer panels and design components

Figma Fundamentals

Master the tools you’ll use every day. We start with the interface, then move through shapes, text, components, and collaboration features. You’ll understand not just how to click, but why you’re clicking.

Hand sketching wireframe layouts on paper with pen and ruler

Wireframing Techniques

Wireframes are the bridge between ideas and finished designs. We’ll teach you low-fidelity sketching, information architecture, and how to test ideas quickly before investing time in visual design.

Design system documentation showing component library and design tokens

Building for Startups

Startups move fast. You’ll learn how to build scalable design systems, work with developers, and iterate based on real feedback. No theoretical exercises — everything we teach you’ll actually use.

Core Skills

Three Pillars of Modern Design

Figma component variants showing different states and styles

Component Systems

Learn to create reusable components that speed up design and ensure consistency. We’ll show you how professional teams organize their design libraries.

Wireframe sketches showing user flow and interaction patterns

User Flows

Understand how users move through your designs. We’ll teach you mapping techniques that reveal problems before you build anything.

Prototype interaction animation showing button hover states and transitions

Interactive Prototypes

Move beyond static mockups. You’ll build interactive prototypes that actually work, helping stakeholders understand your vision.

Our Approach

Why Our Courses Work

We’ve taught hundreds of designers in Kowloon. Here’s what makes the difference.

1

Hands-On From Day One

You’re not watching videos passively. Every lesson includes actual projects where you’re designing real things — landing pages, app screens, dashboards.

2

Startup-Focused Content

We don’t teach design theory in a vacuum. Everything we cover is built around how startups actually work — speed, iteration, limited budgets, and rapid feedback.

3

Learn From Working Designers

Our instructors aren’t academics. They’re designers who work with startups every day. You’ll get real workflows, not textbook approaches.

4

Lifetime Access to Resources

Figma changes, design trends evolve. Your access to course materials doesn’t expire, and we keep updating everything to stay current.

Our Story

How We Started

2018

The Beginning

Started as a small design studio in Kowloon helping local startups with their first products. We noticed the same gaps in every team — nobody really understood design process.

2019

First Workshop

Ran our first informal Figma workshop with 8 designers. It was messy but useful. People asked if we could do it again.

2020-2022

Growing the Program

Turned workshops into structured courses. Moved everything online during lockdowns. Hundreds of designers from across Asia joined.

2023-Now

What We Do Today

We’ve trained over 500 designers in Figma and wireframing. Many are now design leads at startups. We keep the courses focused on practical skills that actually matter.

By The Numbers

Over 500 designers trained | 6+ years of experience | 12 courses available | 97% completion rate

We measure success by how many of our students actually apply what they learn. The numbers speak for themselves — most designers who start our courses finish them and use these skills in real projects.

Have Questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need design experience to start?

No. Our beginner course assumes you’ve never opened Figma before. We start with the absolute basics and build from there. Most of our students come from non-design backgrounds.

How long does it take to finish a course?

Most people complete our core Figma course in 4-6 weeks working part-time. The wireframing course takes 3-4 weeks. You set your own pace though — there’s no deadline.

Will this teach me how to be a designer?

We teach you the tools and techniques. Being a designer is about practice, feedback, and iteration. We’ll get you started and point you toward real projects where you’ll actually learn.

What about the design software cost?

Figma has a free tier that works great for learning. You can complete our entire course using the free version. Some advanced features need a paid plan, but that’s optional.

Is this just for people in Kowloon?

We’re based in Kowloon but our courses are fully online. You can join from anywhere. Most of our students are in different cities and time zones.

Can I get a certificate when I finish?

Yes. You’ll get a certificate of completion for each course. It’s not a degree, but it shows employers you’ve actually done the work.

Ready to Start?

We run new cohorts every month. You can join the next one or get on our waiting list for the course that fits your schedule.
